We love hearing about your pets and the difference we have made!
“To the end there were two things Fred really enjoyed. The first thing was food. Fred was, after all, a Lab mix. The second thing was going to see Dr. Lisa. Even when getting up his ramp into the car was a struggle at the house, after his treatment with Dr. Lisa he seemed to dance out to the car. His eyes were a little brighter and his smile a little more broad.
Dealing with an old dog, and Fred was old when I got him from the shelter, with unknown medical history but physical evidence of a bad knee, a thyroid condition, and chronic ear infections is not easy. Using chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, Dr. Lisa gave Fred a measure of relief that even allowed us to reduce his need for prescription drugs. Fred's quality and enjoyment of life was clearly enhanced by his visits with Dr. Lisa. In return he added her to his list of people whom he adored!”
“Lisa not only improved the quality of Webster's life, she prolonged it. Webster was my gentle giant who seemed almost bionic in strength and endurance. As he got older, he started to have some serious and debilitating issues. After just a few of Lisa's treatments, Webster was able to come off quite a few of his meds, and the improvement he showed after each treatment was remarkable. Webster really liked Lisa and he enjoyed the treatments. Lisa's passion for what she does, as well as her care and compassion for your animal shines through in every visit. She always had patience for my endless questions, and really made me feel like we were working together. I even emailed her in between treatments with questions, and she was prompt and incredibly thorough with her replies. After my high-priced experiences at the big corporate veterinary clinics most of Webster's life (where the only solution was to pile on more meds), finding Lisa was such a treat. The difference she made in our lives is something I will never forget. Her completely customized treatment plans, gentle nature, extensive knowledge, and her genuine interest in Webster's quality of life both during and after treatments was care that went above and beyond what I was used to. Thank you, Lisa, for the AMAZING work you do!”
“My German Shepherd, Tyler, has had very bad spinal arthritis for over 8 years. He is now 11 years old. When he started dragging his back legs and had trouble going to the bathroom, I asked The Pet Stuff Place for an acupuncturist referral, and they told me about Lisa. Before we met Lisa, we were thinking that Tyler might not make it to the end of 2009. We have Lisa to thank for providing Tyler the quality of life he needed to stay with us into 2010. Lisa’s style is great – she is down-to-earth, an animal lover, always has the animal’s best interests at heart, and she has recommended many pain solutions. So far, despite Ty’s declining health from old age, the acupuncture keeps Tyler comfortable and walking for 2 weeks at a time. By improving Tyler’s quality of life, Lisa has kept me and my family happy and grateful every day to have him around.”
“I have an English Bulldog, Gabby, and she is 13. Almost two years ago, Gabby was taken into the emergency vet since she had severe constipation. The vet there took x-rays and noticed how terrible Gabby's arthritis was. She recommended that we try acupuncture in hopes that it might help her pain levels and constipation. The next day I was researching local acupuncturists and found Lisa Lancaster. When we first met Lisa, Gabby was on multiple medications and could barely walk. With the help from Lisa and her skills Gabby takes one medication per day, and after services runs around like she is a puppy. It's amazing!!! I am overly thankful for Lisa's skills, compassion and expertise and I highly recommend her!! I truly believe that without Lisa's help Gabby would not have made it this long. Gabby and I thank you, Lisa!”
“My cat's health and comfort have improved dramatically since he started receiving chiropractic, acupuncture, and laser treatments for his arthritis from Dr. Lancaster. Angus had been to other acupuncturists, but just wasn't getting enough relief for his pain. Dr. Lancaster even helped solved the mystery of why he wouldn’t finish his meals – his TMJ was causing him pain! Once she got his neck loosened up, he was back to licking his bowl clean and even chasing the other cats around the house. We're very grateful for the relief she's brought Angus!”
“I cannot thank Dr. Lancaster enough for her patience, sensitivity and amazing diagnostic skills. My horse, Eli, had a mysterious left hind leg lameness and the cause could not be found by equine lameness experts despite xray and ultrasound studies. They suggested an expensive MRI or simply retirement of my 15-year old horse. A good friend suggested that I have Dr. Lancaster evaluate and work on my horse. She found multiple musculoskeletal problems and began to work on correcting the problems. Ultimately, her work resulted in complete resolution of all lameness and allowed us to continue and advance with our dressage work.”
