To the end there were two things Fred really enjoyed. The first thing was food. Fred was, after all, a Lab mix. The second thing was going to see Dr. Lisa. Even when getting up his ramp into the car was a struggle at the house, after his treatment with Dr. Lisa he seemed to dance out to the car. His eyes were a little brighter and his smile a little more broad.
Dealing with an old dog, and Fred was old when I got him from the shelter, with unknown medical history but physical evidence of a bad knee, a thyroid condition, and chronic ear infections is not easy. Using chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, Dr. Lisa gave Fred a measure of relief that even allowed us to reduce his need for prescription drugs. Fred’s quality and enjoyment of life was clearly enhanced by his visits with Dr. Lisa. In return he added her to his list of people whom he adored!
